# Settings

The gear icon in **Settings** allows you to customize your playing across audio and interface preferences, giving you control over how the platform looks, sounds, and behaves during gameplay.

#### **Audio**

**Music** – Adjust the background soundtrack volume for the full game session using the slider (0–100%).

**Sound FX** – Control the volume of sound effects, including spins, wins, and interaction feedback.

Both audio settings are independent, allowing you to balance ambient sound and gameplay feedback.

**Show Chat Bubble** – Toggle on to display the floating chat shortcut on screen.

**Mute Notifications** – Toggle on to silence non-essential alerts while playing.

These settings make it easy to tailor Ape Church to your preferences, whether you want a quieter experience, fewer distractions, or values displayed in a familiar format.
